2013 Barry-Roubaix…even more suffering.

So much attrition.

I got cross gut. I puked.

At mile 41, I was ready to sell my Crux and never race ‘cross or gravel again.

The course was frozen, uphill and down. The flats were covered in braking bumps.

At mile 53, I started to tear my legs to pieces, averaging 23-24mph on the flats and tearing up every hill, flying past other riders. I finished in 3:32. 17 mph average.

I will probably never do the 62 mile length again. Twice is enough.

For the amount of people in the race, it was handled well.

I’m running out of short sentences.

How did you do?
